AG Millworks is seeking a reliable, motivated Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team. In this position, you will utilize your experience, leadership, and communication skills to direct team members. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines to produce quality products safely and cost-effectively while preserving a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and enforce all established policies, procedures, and recognized practices
• Oversee production schedule; assign and oversee all projects
• Resolve any issues; handle maintenance work when necessary
• Collaborate with Floor Manager and supervise workers to ensure productivity
• Maintain sight of the goals of the production team and keep everyone on task

Requirements:

• Related operations experience
• Experience in a supervisory or management role
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional at time management skills
• Willing and able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 10-15 lbs. throughout shift
• Reliable transpiration to and from the job
• Willing to work full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

• Bilingual English/Spanish

Job Type:

• Full-time Only – with occasional overtime

• Ventura, California (Applicants must live within 25 miles of the city of Ventura, California or be willing to relocate)
